Meet our counsellor
Paola Kolliou
I come from a background marked by brokenness—raised in a family shaped by hardships and a country burdened by pain and war. These early experiences didn’t just shape who I am—they ignited a deep compassion in me and a calling to help others find healing, hope, and restoration. I understand what it’s like to carry invisible wounds, and I’m here to remind others they don’t have to walk through their struggles alone.
Today, I’m a qualified counsellor with a Diploma of Counselling and a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). I work with individuals from all walks of life, offering a safe, supportive, and faith-rooted space for growth and healing.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—tailored to each person’s unique journey—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFA), Person-Centred Approach (PCA), and Faith-Focused Therapy. Whether you’re navigating trauma, emotional pain, relationship patterns, or simply seeking to grow, I’m here to walk beside you with care and grace.
I speak Arabic and i’m honored to support Arabic-speaking individuals and families who may feel more at ease expressing themselves in their heart language.
Counselling, to me, is not just a profession—it’s a calling. And it would be a privilege to support you on your journey toward healing, renewal and growth.
I’m under a regular supervision to be able to provide the best service needed.
